Our nurturing environment sparks young minds to embrace exploration, creativity, and personal growth through spontaneous learning adventures. Our focus revolves around adapting the environment to align with the children’s world, fostering meaningful connections.
By fostering hands-on experiences, we stoke each child’s innate curiosity about their surroundings, bolstering their sensory processing abilities. We cater to various learning styles with visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic teaching methods.
Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, we design an environment where children not only drive their own learning but also authentically express themselves. Our curriculum mirrors the Belonging, Being, Becoming principles of the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), addressing key outcomes:
- Nurturing a strong sense of identity
- Fostering connection and contribution to the world
- Promoting well-being and confidence
- Cultivating confident, engaged learners
- Facilitating effective communication skills
EYLF, an early childhood curriculum framework, is the cornerstone of our play-based approach. It empowers educators to craft high-quality early education programs that embrace play-based learning, supporting children’s growth and school transitions. Our play-based curriculum is a conduit for enhancing emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development.
Research underpins the link between gross motor development and improved brain function in young children, affirming our holistic approach to growth. Collaborating with other professionals allows us to offer unique programs like our tailored sports initiative, amplifying learning through direct interactions. Our sports program, led by Coach Paul from ‘Kids Sport for Life,’ features half-hour sessions in small groups twice a term.
You are welcome to book a 30 minute orientation of the centre during operational hours to view the learning environment and have any questions answered.
The times available to book are 9:30am and 10am, Thursdays and Fridays during school terms. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.
